Stained Glass Emblem

Fruto "Rudy" Soto, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on March 15, 2014. He was 66.

Mr. Soto was born on October 6, 1947 in Aquadilla, Puerto Rico to the late Fruto and Casta (Talavera) Soto. In 1965 he married his childhood sweetheart, Kathleen Bunten. For many years before his retirement he worked as a union carpenter.

In addition to his wife Kathleen he is survived by his sons, Joseph and his wife Trish, Erik, and Jason and his wife Gen; and his grandchildren, Erik, Kaitlyn, Kassidy, Emma, Kylie, and Conner.

Visiting will be Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10am at St. Lucy's Church. Cremation will follow at Woodlawn Crematory.
