Gianfranco Dinelli, a long-time resident of Morris Park, died at Calvary Hospital on May 28, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. He was 69.

Mr. Dinelli was born on June 14, 1945 in Lucca, Italy. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Nella Dinelli; his sister Anna Del Morro; his three children and their spouses Ann Marie and her husband Richard, John and his wife Jeanine, and Joanne and her husband Scott; his ten grandchildren Elisa, Kristina, John, Gabriella, Alana, Isabella, Michael, Nicholas, Michael, and Christopher; his two great-grandchildren Daniela and Lorenzo; and many loving nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his father Carlo and his mother Lilita.

Visitation will be Sunday 2-8pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Funeral Mass will be Monday 9:45am at St. Clare of Assisi Church, 1918 Paulding Avenue, Bronx. Cremation will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either Calvary Hospital, 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx, New York 10461 or Memorial Sloan- Kettering Hospital, 1275 York Avenue, New York, New York 10065.
