Stained Glass Emblem

Livio J. Baratieri, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on March 11, 2015. He was 86.

Mr. Baratieri was born on June 7, 1928 in New York City to the late Massimino and Angelina (Spagna) Barattieri. On September 28, 1957 he married Teresa LaMarca. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. For many years before his retirement he worked as a post clerk for the US Postal Service.

In addition to his wife Teresa he is survived by his daughters, Angela Francisco and her husband Joel and Janine Ewing and her husband Dino; his grandchildren, Stefani Francisco, Christopher Francisco, Natalie Ewing, and David Ewing; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visiting will be Friday 4-8pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10:30am at St. Clares Church. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to the Wounded Warrior Project.
