Stained Glass Emblem

Luigi Napolitano, a longtime resident of the Bronx, died on February 21, 2014. He was 84.

Mr. Napolitano was born on July 20, 1929 in Naples, Italy to the late Salvatore and Carmela (Gravina) Napolitano. On January 17, 1954 he married Mary Shaw. She died in December 1994. For many years before his retirement he worked in the garment industry.

He is survived by his son Sal Napolitano and his wife Mary Ann; his daughter Mela Bluett and her spouse James Romano; his grandchildren, Jackie Bluett, Lisa Bluett, Nicole Hanson and her husband Eric, Steven Napolitano and his wife Jennifer, Michael Napolitano and his wife Christa, Daniel Napolitano, and Tiffany Napolitano; and his great-grandchildren, Michael, Steven, and Adrianna Napolitano. He is pre-deceased by his son William Napolitano.

Visiting Sunday 3-8pm at Joseph A. Lucchese Funeral Home, 726 Morris Park Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10am at St. Francis Xavier Church. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
